Assistant Professor Dr. Danupol Nantajit, Director of Bureau for Research and Innovation Management, led a team of faculty members and researchers from Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA) to achieve significant recognition on the international stage. The Academy proudly garnered five prestigious awards\u2014one Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations, one Silver Medal, and three Special Prizes\u2014at The 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, held from 9\u201313 April 2025 at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the accolades, the project \u201cAICEDA BoneX: Cloud-based multilayer medical expertise collaboration with AI to support inexperienced doctors in hip fracture diagnostics at emergency rooms in rural areas\u201d received remarkable distinction, earning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed by Dr. Todsaporn Fuangrod, Lect. Patiparn Kummanee, and Lect. Napat Srisermphoak of Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, in collaboration with Dr. Polchai Wongthongsalee from Phrapokklao Hospital, this innovation addresses critical diagnostic challenges in rural healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AICEDA BoneX is a cloud-based system that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) with multi-layered medical collaboration to support junior physicians in accurately diagnosing hip fractures in emergency settings. Tailored especially for rural areas, the system significantly reduces diagnostic errors and enhances timely treatment efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed with user-friendliness in mind, AICEDA BoneX follows three core steps: login, image upload, and diagnostic display with confidence levels. It supports all device types to ensure accessibility and ease of use. Furthermore, the system includes mechanisms for user feedback\u2014such as lesion labeling and AI error correction\u2014which are utilized to continually improve the AI model\u2019s accuracy and reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This recognition on a global platform underscores the Academy\u2019s commitment to advancing medical innovation and delivering impactful solutions for healthcare challenges, particularly in underserved areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n
