Chulabhorn Royal Academy received 5 innovation awards for 3 projects presented at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, held in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistant Professor Dr. Danupol Nuntajit, Director of the Office of Research and Innovation Management, led a team of lecturers and researchers to achieve outstanding success by securing a total of 5 awards\u2014comprising 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 3 special awards\u2014at the prestigious international event, \u201cThe 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, held from April 9\u201313, 2025, at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chulabhorn Royal Academy received the following awards: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations and two Special Prizes\u2014namely the CAI Award for Invention & Innovation from the China Association of Inventions, and the NRCT Special Award (Thailand)\u2014were awarded for the project titled: \u201cAICEDA BoneX: Cloud-based Multilayer Medical Expertise Collaboration with AI to Support Inexperienced Doctors in Hip Fracture Diagnosis at Emergency Rooms in Rural Areas.\u201d<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project, led by Prof. Dr. Todsaporn Fuangrod and his team from the Princess Srisavangavadhana Faculty of Medicine, is a cloud-based system that integrates medical expertise collaboration with artificial intelligence (AI). It is designed to assist junior doctors in accurately diagnosing hip fractures in emergency rooms, particularly in rural settings. The system aims to reduce diagnostic errors and enhance the efficiency of timely patient care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AICEDA BoneX is user-friendly, featuring three main steps: login, image upload, and diagnostic results display with confidence levels. It is compatible with all devices to ensure accessibility and ease of use. Moreover, the system incorporates user feedback\u2014such as lesion labeling and AI error verification\u2014to continually refine and improve the AI model’s accuracy and performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Silver Medal, awarded for the project: “AI Platform for Multiclass Classification of Lung Lesions on Chest X-rays”<\/strong> by Prof. Chayanon Pamarapa <\/strong>and Prof. Ruedeerat Keerativittayayut, Ph.D<\/strong>, affiliated with the School of Radiological Technology, Faculty of Health Science Technology, Chulabhorn Royal Academy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This platform leverages artificial intelligence to accurately classify various types of lung lesions from chest X-ray images, supporting enhanced diagnostic capabilities in medical imaging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Special Prize<\/strong> (awarded by Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia)<\/strong> 
for the project: “CRA NutriTrack: A Web Application Designed to Assess Nutritional Status and Plan Meals Tailored to the Needs of Patients”<\/strong> by Asst. Prof. Wares Chancharoen<\/strong> Ph.D, and team, affiliated with the Princess Srisavangavadhana Faculty of Medicine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRA NutriTrack is a user-friendly web-based application that assists healthcare providers in evaluating patients\u2019 nutritional conditions and generating personalized meal plans. The tool aims to support better clinical nutrition management and improve patient outcomes through dietary interventions tailored to individual health needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This outstanding achievement highlights the continued dedication of Chulabhorn Royal Academy to advancing medical research and innovation. The recognition at such a prestigious international event underscores the academy\u2019s pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare technology, with a focus on enhancing patient care and supporting medical professionals worldwide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
