Bangkok, October 1, 2026 – Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA) has achieved a significant milestone by securing a position in the 1,601–1,800 global ranking band and ranking 13th among universities in Thailand in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, officially announced on September 30, 2026. This achievement marks the Academy’s first appearance in the prestigious global rankings, placing it among Thailand’s leading higher education institutions.
Recognition by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world’s most prestigious and widely recognized university ranking organizations, reflects Chulabhorn Royal Academy’s strong commitment and growing capabilities as a higher education and research institution specializing in medical sciences and public health. Beyond producing highly qualified graduates, the Academy places great emphasis on advancing research, fostering innovation, and developing an academic environment that meets international standards.
According to the assessment results, Chulabhorn Royal Academy achieved the following scores across the five key performance indicators:
- Industry: 37.8
- International Outlook: 33.6
- Research Quality: 29.0
- Research Environment: 24.6
- Teaching: 23.5
The Academy’s particularly strong performance in Industry and International Outlook highlights its capacity to integrate knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and establish effective international collaborations.
