Chulabhorn Royal Academy Organizes SLiDR 2026 to Foster Excellence in Autoimmunity Research and Academic Collaboration

On Thursday, 28th May 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., the Bureau for Research and Innovation Management (BRIM), through the Immune Responses and Virology Laboratory, the Project Development for Research Excellence Division, the Cancer Discovery and Genomics Research Center, and the Academic Journal and Research Intelligence Division, organized the Scientific Literature Discussion and Review (SLiDR) 2026 under the theme “Autoimmunity: From Mechanism to Medicine.”

The event was honored by the presence of Professor Ruengpung Sutthent, M.D., Ph.D, Acting Deputy Secretary General of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy, who delivered the welcoming remarks to distinguished speakers, including Professor Martin van Hagen from the Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam, Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sita Virakul, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, an expert in clinical immunology. The event was held at the R-102 Multi-Purpose Hall, 5th Floor, Zone B, Princess Chulabhorn Research and Learning Building in Celebration of Her Royal Highness’s 60th Birthday Anniversary.

The primary objective of this program was to enhance the knowledge and competencies of personnel in the health sciences field while promoting the exchange of knowledge, research experiences, and best practices. In addition, the program aimed to strengthen and expand both national and international academic collaborations for future research development.
