The project aims to disseminate knowledge generated from research for social benefit while empowering community members to adopt appropriate self-care practices. Participants were encouraged to apply the knowledge gained to improve the health and well-being of themselves and their families.
The event featured a special lecture entitled “Preventing Dementia: A New Perspective on Care Through Technology”, delivered by Dr. Chutima Thongwachira, Assistant Dean for Education, together with Chuleekorn Panya and Thanyanan Phoolswasdi, lecturers from the Department of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Princess Agrarajakumari Faculty of Nursing.
The lecture was delivered to residents of the Lak Si Community Housing Estate in Thung Song Hong Subdistrict, Lak Si District, Bangkok. More than 85 community members participated in the event, demonstrating strong interest in enhancing their knowledge of dementia prevention and the application of technology in health care.
