Bureau for Research and Innovation Management (BRIM), Chulabhorn Royal AcademyVisits Khon Kaen University to Exchange Best Practices in Research and Innovation Management

On 8 June 2026, the Bureau for Research and Innovation Management (BRIM), Chulabhorn Royal Academy, led by Associate Professor Dr. Danupon Nantajit, Director of the Bureau for Research and Innovation Management, together with BRIM personnel, visited the Research Administration Division and the Intellectual Property Center at Khon Kaen University for a study visit and knowledge-sharing exchange.

The visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices in research and innovation management, with a focus on key areas that can further strengthen the effectiveness of CRA’s research management system. Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the administration of research grants from the Science Research and Innovation Promotion Fund (SRI Fund), domestic and international external funding opportunities, the development of research management and support systems, research project monitoring and performance indicator tracking, research information systems and databases, procurement procedures, as well as strategies for enhancing researchers’ capabilities and motivation.

The delegation from Chulabhorn Royal Academy was warmly welcomed by Ms. Krittika Daengrat, Director of Research Administration Division, and Mrs. Jiraporn Luangpairin, Director of the Intellectual Property Center, Khon Kaen University, together with division heads and staff members. The meeting was held at Kanlapaphruek 7 Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building.

During the visit, representatives from both institutions shared their experiences and operational approaches to enhance the effectiveness of research and innovation management. The exchange also focused on supporting institutional strategies and achieving organizational key performance indicators (KPIs), with the ultimate goal of advancing research excellence and international competitiveness.
